*Step back and look into the mirror once plucked (one hair may be   enough!)

*Apply little pressure when using brow pencil

*Use brow brush to shape and soften

*Don't misplace your arch 

*Apply colour by following the direction of the brow hair.

*for a natural looking brow choose a colour lighter than your natural hair colour

*for bolder brows go darker and exaggerate the shape

Stunning Navy & Gold Sultry Eye

What a beautiful makeup!

Former model and actress Bipasha Basu is stunning in every photo and movie I’ve seen her in. Usually she wears a more subtle look like the photo down below.  I love this more dramatic striking navy blue and gold eye makeup she's rockin' on the runway.

The navy complements her warm hazel brown eyes. The peachy lip and cheek make her look so fresh and glowy. I find navy more refreshing than black. There are so many smoky eyes out there created with black...but this is so refreshingly different and navy stands out so nicely against the pale reflective gold. 

To create this stunning makeup on a client with a similar skin tone, I’d start with MAC’s Indian Wood or Quite Natural Paint Pot as a base, Blooz eye kohl liner to line the eye and water line and I’d create the look mostly with woodwinked, contrast and rice paper eyeshadows. For the cheek I’d use a combination of Peaches and Margin blush and some bronzer. For lips I’d chose a light pinky-nude liner with MAC’s Speed Dial or maybe Cherish lipstick with Love Nectar Lustreglass to create that peachy gold glow on the lip.

A more natural look....

For a more natural every day look you can still use some of the products I mentioned above. MAC’s Indian Wood or Quite Natural Paint Pots are perfect for adding colour to the lids that will last all day. Rice Paper is a perfect everyday shade for a base and bowbone highlighter. Woodwinked can also be used sparingly for daytime to create a gold glow on the lids.  

Side-braid...perfect for this hot weather!

I LOVE this really updated take on a side-braid. I think this would make a very pretty look for a bridesmaid.
